Are anthias nocturnal?

Quick question for the R2R community. If all goes right I'll be picking up a pictillis anthias trio in 4 weeks, though I have a pretty persistent coral-eating pest that only comes out at night and was wondering if pictillis anthias will be active at the same time? They're slightly smaller than regular amphipods so size won't be a problem. They'll be one of the only fish if not the only fish in my 9 month old 120 gallon tank. Thanks!

About to go through the QT process. Placed an order through my LFS and they have a 1 month QT policy before purchase. Hopefully they fare well through QT

That will be best. Giving them plenty of time to settle and eating well before you take them.

No, although species like pictillis often hide/take a long while to be comfortable in aquariums as they aren't typically used to such strong lighting. Many species live quite deep, off the outer slopes/drop-offs of reefs.
