I will take advice on which one (apex or not) or if I should go with 2 mp10s on the back instead. I love vortech but also like the way the gyres work.
Tank is a 6 foot 220, good flow on each side.
split overflown design so there is about 36" between the two, I was thinking two of the small gyres, or would one (large) be better? I need good flow for what I am doing with this tank but am not familiar with the gyres. I always use fairly thin sand

Mp10 do not work with 1/2 inch thick glass. How thick is your tank ?

1/2." thank you.
I do not think mp40s would work well on the back of the tank. They used to make an mp20... ahh the good old days!

Thanks for the heads up
Yea I really wish mp10 would work on my back of 120 but to thick :(

So I am impulsively adding a hydra 64 instead of a fourth 26, it will go right in the middle. I want to order it all together tonight. What do you guys think. Good flow is on each side but the middle is wide open just a couple low to mid bridges.
