Are my Duncan’s rotting?

got them about a week ago and I’m just now noticing this one one of the heads. During the day they look fine and flow fine with the water but this just looks like it’s dying or being eaten. I only have hermits, 2 clowns and 2 electric blue damsels and cleaned shrimp

Most corals shrink up at night it looks pretty normal to me.

I wasn’t talking about hem shrinking, I was referring to the area circled. I don’t think that’s part of the plug but more part of the coral that seems to be “rotting” ya know

Did you frag it yourself or buy it? It kind of just looks like some old liverock that it was attached to before it was fragged.
