Recently picked these up over the weekend and I noticed they are a bit translucent.
I have been looking it up but, theres always something different to each case.
I am currently acclimating them to my light ( Kessil A160 tuna blue) and the highest it ramps up to is 20% my light schedule is from 9am-9pm with it usually running around 10% through out the day?
They are placed at the bottom of my tank with low/med flow and seem to be extending fine.
Im still a noob and still learning, my tank has been up about 2-3 months.

Tank parameters.
pH: 8.1
Ammonia: 0 ppm
nitrates/nitrites: 0 ppm
phosphates: 0 ppm
Calcium 410 ppm
KH (alkalinity) : 10 dKH

These are the best pictures I could get

They look fine to me. Pretty great actually. When they bleach, they turn very pale.

You're good bro, stop over thinking things.

Aha thanks man, I just ask because in person they seem translucent. They go from translucent/white in the bottom to kind of translucent at the top but, then again maybe I am overthinking it

Thanks, its just there translucency was bugging me, I guess the pictures don't do it justice but. I'll keep that in mind.

Looks fine to me, they are always somewhat see through in parts.
