My zoas have not moved from this spot since I put them in the tank. I will be moving them soon though to my zoa rock.

They have grown a bit since I first got them and have seemed happy until a few days ago and now they look like this? I had my lights on acclimation mode until the 19th. Are they getting too much light? Too little? Or are they just looking funny because they still have grown.

Haven’t checked params lately but all my other corals are happy including all the zoas on my zoa rock. I’m using 2 ai primes on a 20g im peninsula

Parameters are key especially for new additions.

I’ve had them for a few months and have had problems with lack of light which is why I added a second one. Are the ends folding up like that a possible sign of too much or too little light?

Can't give any advice without knowing parameters given by accurate tests.

I dont favor them on sandbed as sand can irritate them but I dont see stretching nor shrinking and seem quite healthy. Subtle light and moderate water flow is what they ask for

Absolutely. I have a rock full of zoas on the end of my tank that I put them all on. Usually I keep my new corals on the sand bed for a few days to a week so they can adjust to the light and then move them. I kept this one here longer because my tank needed a second light so my zoa rock on the end was suffering but now I have the second light and my zoa rock is happy so I can move it! I'll be moving it to that rock tomorrow, especially because I plan on getting an urchin next week and would rather it not wear my rastas lol

Iodide is more effective as They convert iodide to needed iodine and also it is easy to overdose iodine
