Are sea clone 150 skimmers good hob skimmers?

Looking to purchase one for 70$brand new from someone. I want to know if anyone has experience withh these good or bad.

I used to use one almost 20 years ago on a 55 gallon FOWLR tank. Did an ok job you just need to keep the pump clean of debris to keep it working efficiently.

As far as skimmers go... No. They're not very good at all. On Marine Depot they have the Reef Octopus Classic 100-HOB for a decent price. Always research the equipment you're buying because the performance varies greatly in things like skimmers.

I learned my lesson that buying the cheapest hardware ends up costing you more.
