Any idea what they are called? Ive combed through zoalibrary.com and zoanthids.com and cant seem to find any that look like any of these. I especially love the one in the first picture in the lower right corner. It almost looks tie-dyed. :)

The stalks on palys tend to be longer or taller than zoas, but isn’t always the case. The head of the polyps of palys' tend to be larger than zoas as well.

Oh awesome! What's a good placement? (i current have them a high middle)

dang looks like i got lucky. Picked them up at lfs $10 for that frag of about 12 heads.
Mine are at the bottom of my tank - around 80 par. I’ve had them two months and they went from 3 polyps to 6 and there’s another forming. Zoas are pretty forgiving on placement. The color may morph in different lighting conditions though.

Oh Im excited! I love when you can see growth in a few months. And thanks for the info.
NowI need to figure out what those tiedye looking ones are in the 1st pic. They are definitely a bit on the muted side and have longer stalks than the others on that frag which is why i thought they might be palys. Ill go check the JF site. I picked those up from the same lfs.
