Are these pods?

I have these fast-moving little creatures in my sump lately, but they aren’t the pods I’m used to seeing. In the beginning of the video, you see the fast-movers. Later I scroll over to the chaeto so you can see the normal pods.

What are the fast-moving ones?

Mysid shrimp

yep They do look like shrimp when I make the video bigger.

What is the zoom on that? They look huge like Amphipods, but they are clear. Amphipods are bigger than Copepods which seem to be in the cheato shot. They almost look like shrimp. Very interesting. Following.

No, I have two triggers and a pink face wrasse.

Mine came on live rock. They’ve been feeding my fish for over 20 years. My favorite “pod”.

I’m going with alien. I’ve not added any live rock for about six months, nut these are well-established, so it could have come on that.

Brine Shrimp, They are clearly Mysid shrimp.
