Hi I just found a bunch of these guys in my frag/quarantine tank.
They look like copepods to me but they are larger than I'm used to (only 4x magnification on the picture and video) so I'm wondering if they are something else.
Here is a picture and a video that shows them moving from top and side.

The eye size and body proportions don't seem very similar to that of "pods" (copepods, amphipods, isopods, ostracods, and mysid shrimp). My guess is that what you are seeing is the larvae of a much larger crustacean. Do you have any shrimps, crabs, or lobsters? Have you recently brought in any sand, rock, corals, or macroalgae it could have hitchhiked on?

Hi, thank you very much. It must be from my cleaner shrimp. I recently replaced some of the water with DT water where I have 5 of them. Let's see how long they last. They don't have predators there and I'm dosing phytho but they keep floating around and have a lot of flow.
