Are watanabei angels and bellus angels reef safe?

Yes. I have had both in the past and neither bothered anything. I had clams, soft corals, lps and sps. Of course, there is always the possibility of a rouge fish that didnt read the manual. But typically those deep-water Japanese angels are coral and invert safe.
