As was mentioned, different monitors will display colors differently. I recently calibrated my monitor using pics I took of a true color wheel, so it's pretty accurate. I still see orange...lol. I've also spent a lot of years in the paint industry, custom matching colors, so I'd say I've got a pretty good eye for color...lol. That being said, Orange is a Secondary color made up of 2 Primary colors, yellow and red. Different ratios of yellow and red will give you different hues of orange. The orange I see in your coral would also require a small amount of green to make...lol. I'd say it's a hue of orange...but could see where people just might see some yellow in it. Definitely more orange than yellow though...lol.

use a calibration program. HDV I think its called is one. I used one on my 55" tv or course I also got into the service menu.

yea i had my tv done by pros bc i didnt wanna mess it up lol thats one benefit of runnin a circuit city

lol i guess so ben! but hey! TO EACH HIS OWN :)


well in the first pic there isnt even a hint of orange in it. all I see is green and yellow. Second pic on the other hand. I have one of the best monitors in the world and its properly calibrated. I should hook this upto my 55" sxrd through 1080p and see if the colors change but I highly doubt they will.
