I’m debating on a dastaco Carx. You use the media they recommend or something different? Very nice corals too!

I’m debating on a dastaco Carx. You use the media they recommend or something different? Very nice corals too!

I use the recommended media. It’s mined calcium carbonate tested to ensure no contaminates. The DaStaCo is a great reactor. Pricey but well designed and constructed. Worth every penny.

These pics prove that beautiful stuff can still come from mariculture. That and wilds are all I really get and I am rarely disappointed in the end. You do have to have a good eye and experience with a lot of corals before you can spot the nicest stuff though, you have proven to have a good eye with this thread. I want some more pics!

Clearly you missed details in your postings...for an example...white, red, and green balance...feel free to share if its not too much work to define the remaining settings
