Hi folks got another question about pukani. I finally tested my rock soaking in fresh water after about 8 weeks. i did change out the water several weeks ago without testing. So the results were 0 nitrate and barely detectable phosphate. This is fresh water soak as you can see from previous posts. I was wondering if the tight fitting lid on the brute can is keeping a low oxygen environment and preventing nutrients from breaking down? Anyway i loosened the lid. Also if anybody has ideas on my previous post would be greatly appreciated. thx.

Oh yea patient. let me tell ya! I built this house around a tank stand starting in 2000. Filled in the hole with a bookshelf and started gardening, and became a wine connoisseur. And became very good friends with the man in the moon out in the corn patch barefooted on moonlit nights.

Oh Woooooooow!!!
Very Nice!

I'm a Cityboy.
I would not know what to do with myself with that much land and I'm sure I could manage to kill dead dirt if I had to try to plant anything.

Then again, I seem to have learned to keep a small ocean in my living room so I guess theirs hope for me yet.

Feel free to stop by my build thread..

I hope mine turns out as good as yours seems to be coming along.
