I've got both of these, as frags. Neither are growing well. Could you give us a rundown of your conditions?

thanks... i had the ASD Rainbow for awhile... I'd sold bunch of frags and 2 big colonies of it while back (one made fine to it destination, the other didn't make it due to leakage)...... i acquired the RMF acid early spring (i think), it didn't grows/colors until very recent.... i didn't do anything different.... these are my spec:

-total volume-- roughly 120gal (with rock and sand)
-old SWC 200 ext. skimmer with askoll 1500 pump(this is a beast) and ext. collection cup -- i had this for years
- GEO 818 (i think) cal rx.
- BRS media reactors (carbon and phosguard)
- 2 radion g4 pro with 4 T5 ati blue+

My parameters:
alk -- 8.5-9dkh
cal: -- roughly 420-450ppm
Mg: roughly 1400
Po4: -- .01 -.02 (I've been trying to keep this as low as i can)

Water Change: at least 30gal/ month... sometime- 5gal. every week (if there sign of excessive algae growth)--Reef Crystal salt

Nitrates: -- roughly 2-5ppm (I've been trying to increase this to 10ppm)

I dose potassium once in awhile, and Nitrate (stump remover) -- for nutrient..

The only component that i tested mostly is Alk (at least twice/week)...i rarely test others (I believe my cal. rx keeps those in checked)

How much par does asd rainbow Mille like? Mine isn’t growing at all. 6 inches away, in a prime light spot, a sunset Mille is growing great.

Still have these?
yes..

I have these corals too and I believe they are the the same coral.

that's what i thought of mine at first too... however, the ASD rainbow is growing great, while the acid trip is slow-as-hell ....

thanks.... i'm using the ATI Blue+ program with 85% total intensity and placed them both roughly at/above the middle of the tank..
