Hey guys, I’ve these guys in my tank. Just want to know if they’re friend or foe. I’ve been having mixed success with zoas. Some dying off and some doing okay. All other corals and a clam doing great. Any info at all is welcome. Thanks

I'm not sure if this is the zoa eating kind...There are some that do, or some people who say they do? It's one of those weird potential conspiracy theories.
But if you're concerned I'd work on removing then.
I have several in my tank but they don't harm my livestock.

Not a conspiracy theory.

I find that the ones that eat the zoas are always the ones that have the dark black and red patches on the back.

The grey and white ones seem to be the more innocent ones
