i got some more cleanup crew, this time a lot of Astrea, the fish store is dark, plus my eyes aren't great. i thought the snails had specked shells. i was done acclimating them, and was getting ready to plop them in, and i thought let me get my magnifiers. well then i could see the same black corkscrews things that you all helped me identify on the coral. so out come the descalers, 2+ hours later, i removed all i could see and placed them in tank. i also found what internet thinks is cemented bivalves while i was cleaning, apparently they are a good thing, i put them on the aquascape to give them a chance. i thought they were deformed shells at first they blended so much

i feel like the stores should put a footnote warning on these

I had to break of some vermitid snails, It seems like just hitting them with tweezers kills them. not so sure about causing them to spread since i did not have that issue. You will feel them crunch, don't just get the top, get it all the way to were they are attached

i removed them completely using a dental scaler. they came from the store covered in them.
