Some of my polyps are under attack by pods. I just had an explosion of them in my tank and they seem to enjoy my polyps. Already lost 2 scarface to these guys... You can see it to the bottom right here...

I did some research and there are different circumstances as to when they will and won't. Mine just so happens to be on one of those "will"-ish states.

If you recently frag some zoa and they are slowly melting, you can see pods come out at nite and chew on it. I have seen it in my tank, but haven't seen any pods in a while.
