This month we are doing a workshop we did a few years ago. We are going to build a LED light fixture! RapidLED is donating a small light fixture kit that I will demonstrate how to build and will be answering questions about LED lights. If anyone has a LED light they built and wants to talk about it, bring it in. Or post some pics or discuss on this thread.

Broken Yolk Cafe
2034 E Southern Ave.
Mesa, AZ 85204

When:
August 11th 3:00pm to 5:00pm

We will raffle the light fixture off and have a nano skimmer or two to raffle off as well. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the meeting and are $1 each or 6 for $5. Raffle starts at 4:30 (or after the workshop).

Feel free to post anything aquarium related you want to put up for sale, frags, used equipment, tanks, etc. in this thread. Must include an asking price. Pics would help. If you want to reserve something that some one has posted please reply in this thread or PM them. If you are not able to attend it would be nice of you to notify that person that you cannot pick up the item. If there is something you are looking for post what it is you want. Maybe you didn't get one of those awesome frags at the auction last month? Now's a good time to try to find it again.

If you would like to be a AZ FRAG member you can register at our Membership page Here.

A big thanks to Mike and the staff at RapidLED for donating an awesome light. Make sure to go to their site and check out all the options you have when it comes to building your own LED light kit.

Any one planning on attending this one?

The LED fixture I received from RapidLED is a nice 25 watt 10 XPG3 LED (6 Blues, 4 Whites) dimmable light bar with a nice blue anodized heat sink. We are going to finish building this at the meeting and it will be raffled off. Your odds of winning it seem pretty high right now. We'll have a skimmer or two if there are enough people that show as well.
