Hey all, quick background. I've had this australian elegance for about a month now, and for the first 3 weeks it looked amazing (picture of it healthy included). Starting last thursday he's been looking stressed, and has had white mucus with black dots on it. Today it's the most closed up i've seen, so I wanted to make a post. Pics and video included

On saturday I did a water change, which didn't really change it much. My other corals look happy, only the elegance is sad. I haven't spot fed the coral yet, but I do feed my tank frozen mysis every day/every other day.

Water Params
Salinity: 1.025
Nitrates: 0
Calc: 450
Alk: 7.7
Mag: 1480

Do you have any fish or inverts that could possibly have bothered it?

Have you recently made any other changes or additions?

Are you dosing anything in the tank?

Are you running carbon?

Do you know phosphate level?

Last week I did notice my female clown nibble at it a couple times, but since then I haven't noticed her go near it at all

No recent changes/additions to the tank, besides my usual weekly/biweekly water change, filter sock change, etc.

I am dosing Coral Amino by Brightwell Aquatics, which i believe is just amino acids. I do it twice a week

Yes I'm running carbon, brs carbon specifically

Phosphates I'm sorry I do not know, but i ordered a phosphate kit.

Do u have to much flow? I increased my flow by just a little. My elegance stopped opening. I turned the flow down just a little and it opened fully a few hours after flow turned down.

It seemed happy with its lighting and flow placement for the first 3 weeks. I turned off my powerhead just now to see what will happen over the next few hours

Any ideas on what's making my elegance sad?

Dont worry to much. My elegance does this probably once a month for a day or so and then opens back up.
