Thanks for the compliments guys. Chris the Acans are under a 4 x 39 watt
bulb T-5 fixture. Jabol took that picture he's got skills. I am really happy with the growth rate of the Aussies.

Nice! What bulb combo are u using?

Chris it's a Tek T-5 fixture. Front to back ATI Blues Plus,ATI Blue Plus,
UV 10,000 K Aqua Sun, and UV Super Actinic.

Where is the up close pic of the one I like? Last pic right up front out of focus......I do like all of them suce vivid colors you are getting, some of the best I have seen....

Is the incredible eye popping color coming from post processing, or is that from the T5's? It's just so over-crisp. I'm getting T5's for my Aussie Acan tank, so if that color isn't the result of overprocessing the pictures, I'm getting the same bulbs:).

Thanks Chris, Azurel I will try and get a shot of those in the front. They are
some of my favorites too. G-Flat Jabol took those pics. The colors are very true under the T-5's.

not as good as alex's pics, but these are a few from today. That last one that is missing a few polyps actually lost a battle with a yuma ric...was that to be expected?

chris, that first one I've had for about 7 weeks now or so? I was really worried it would lose color. It's lost a little. This is a pic back when I got it. It lost some of the irregular green except on the polyps that are kind of on the underside of the rock that is shaded and gets indirect light. However, the radial stripes turned greenish (previously whitish) That second one is a large colony, too. When I get time I'll make some frags. I'm getting closer to finally having a display. :)
