Auto Top Offs?

What type of auto top off systems do y'all use?

I have a JBJ and for about a year it worked great. I soak the float switches about every 3 months in vinegar to remove any build up(if there is any) but for the last couple of weeks it has been almost flooding my sump!:choler: So now I have unplugged it and I am looking for either an option to fix the one I have or just purchase a different kind.

So lets hear the opinions.......

I use a RKE with their ATO and double float switches.

I don't have any big controllers RKE, Neptune I don't have enough equiptment to run on one to justify the cost. I'm sure I will get one eventually but not in the market for one yet. Thanks for the input!

running a Reef Fanatic ATO with Aqua Lifter pump for better than a year now...never an issue and keeps consistant water level for me :)

Where did you get yours? I did a search and they seem to be discontinued from Marinedepot


Anyone using the Tunze? I was looking at them and was wondering if they are worth the cost?

I have been using this for two years. Never had to clean or re-adjust or add top off water to a jug. Works beautifully

Which one? Tunze, JBJ or Reef Fanatics?

Have Tunze Osmolator on my 120 and I'm putting another one on my new 187. Best investment I've made for my tanks, hands down.

Ive been using Tsunami on both my tanks I got a great deal on them Ive been using 1 of them for over a yr without any issues just stared using the other one
