Hello everyone, so I want to start an auto water change. I have a WB Frag 105.4 with about 75-80 gallons of water volume, I do my water changes monthly at 30%. My question is can I store the new mixed water on my patio? sure it's hot out there but I'm going to be doing about a gallon a day slowly throughout the day. The salt I'm using is Tropic Marin pro reef. I know it's got a 4-week pot life but does temperature matter when storing it. thank you in advance.

How hot is “hot?” My patio is about 23f right now, so not hot… How big are the daily temp fluctuations, what is the average temp of the water in the bin? I know PH, dKh and salinity all fluctuate with temp so I’m curious what the manufacturer will have to say.

Issue with heat is it precipitates. Higher the temp more likely it will. I keep mine in my garage.
