My plank auto feeder went crazy and ran all night(right after I filled it of course. Any help on why it is going nuts. Apex still shows it on, I have since unplugged it. I vacuumed most of what I could see off the bottom and did a water change too.

my $20 eheim feeder has been bulletproof for me.
(sorry about your issues, no help here)

sometimes,
too much tech leads to points of failure

I have on an occasion or two been confused on why certain things weren’t turning off, only to discover that my switch in fusion was turned to “on” instead of “auto”? Have you checked that?

Your programming looks right. It should be going on every 4 hours for 30 seconds, but be off between 6 PM and 10 AM.
It is for sure in the auto position. I actually turned it off and back into auto but it just goes to on

I was editing my post when you responded. I think I figured out the problem. I just noticed your command

In the OSC command, I think it should say. “ON” not “OFF”

OSC 000:00/000:30/239:30 Then ON

The plank is turning OFF every 4 hours for 30 second, so it’s on all of the rest of the time.

The OSC command in theory is great, but when it comes to auto feeders I like to take a more defensive approach in general. It works great for a lot of people, but I am too paranoid :)

I do a few things:
- Set manual intervals for when I want it on
- Use a defer to control how "long" in that interval (I run 15 seconds)
- Have it turn off if it somehow manages to run more than 3 mins

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 10:31 to 10:32 Then ON
If Time 13:30 to 13:31 Then ON
If Time 16:30 to 16:31 Then ON
If Time 19:30 to 19:31 Then ON
Defer 001:45 Then ON
When On > 003:00 Then OFF
