Making an AWC setup for the system using a spare dosing pump I have lying around. I will have 2 containers -
1 for holding water taken out and 1 holding water to go in in place of removed water.

My question is on the container holding the new SW (mixed) to be added to tank. It will be no larger than a 5g container or so.
Do I need to keep a mixing pump in that container to keep the water moving around? I will be setting it to go thru the entire container over the span of a week.

Thanks in advance for responses.

No, you need not mix the new salt water (unless it is one of the types with added organic matter, like Reef Crystals or Tropic Marin Bioactif). My normal IO sits unstirred for a month or more while my system changes it slowly into the main tank, 1% daily.

Sweet - thanks randy. I didnt figure so but that was only a guess.
I'll update as I go along. Seems a very easy addition with great benefit.
