This is 2 minutes of run time, probably 1/6th of what I would feed per feeding with 23 fish.

I can’t fathom how much food you are feeding a day. Can you weigh what you typically feed vs what comes out ground up. I think you will find a disparity due to the particle size and density.

Yea you might be right. Ill weigh it all out sometime soon. I rarely feed TDO pellets and never reef jerky, just the cool mix flake, brine spheres for anthias, and nori with occasional frozen (2"x3" chunk over several hours). I do feed heavy since I work from home and am feeding 4-6+ times a day but never where foods floating around after 2-3 minutes, huge pinches of food get eaten in under a minute.

Fish list is 3 large tangs, 6 anthias, 7 damsels, 2 clowns, 2 filefish, firefish, flasher wrasse, cleaner wrasse. SPS tank with reefmat (offline as nitrates were low) and vertex skimmer.

I'm not sure I understand what the issue is at this point. The image above is what the Plank drops in 2 minutes? That is a good portion and based on the number of fish noted would be consumed without issue.

If I had to fathom a guess I would say I am feeding that same amount give or take 6 times a day with the Plank and 1 large frozen.

Maybe the problem is I'm just feeding way too much 🤣

On another note. Cool flakes are loved by all fish amazing flakes. Wish shipping was cheaper on frozen foods.

I purchase from Premium Aquatics and have to say it is well worth the cost. The frozen food arrives in much better shape than anything I can pick up locally. Not sure why some of our stores struggle but I basically order enough to offset the extra frozen shipping tax.

Not sure if you used them before or not but worth checking out. I know a few other hobbyist who have similar experiences.

Stand corrected a little just sticker shock. 42 blister packs. 130$ shipping. 68$ for the blister packs. Say total 200$. 200$÷42= 4.76 a pack. So not bad on paper from brineshrimpdirect just man 200$

Agree I loaded a cart and couldn't believe it lol. They do have the best food though

I've done mostly pellets. Flakes caused a spike in phos
