Goby in the sea of life.
Hey good people, I'm Bryan, aka awcasper.
I'm from east San jose, CA and member of Norcal Reef Club.
Currently an Environmental Studies student at De Anza College. I am in the wildlife tracking program there. I track large mammals in south SJ using remote cameras, GIS mapping, and looking at scat and tracks. I plan to apply GIS mapping to land management, specializing in aquatic habitats.
Besides reefing, I am into submission grappling, inverts, and biology in general.
I have about 4 years in the hobby. Currently I am into gobies, favias, and mushrooms. Have some weird stuff in your sump? I'm probably into that, too.
TANK: 65gal Truvu (36"x15"x22"), 20gal custom acrylic sump, Icecap 660 4x T5, 2x MJ 900 Sureflow mod, Tunze Nano Wavebox, Loc-line, Ehiem 1250 return, Reef Keeper 2 controller, JBJ ATO, Korallin calc reactor, DIY CO2 reactor for macro algae.
LIVESTOCK: Shrooms, Favia, Leathers, YWG, orange spotted goby, 4x blue gudgeon gobies, Rainford's Goby, Hector's goby, Firefish, Unkwn goby, 2x black hi-fin goby, 2x red headed goby, 2x randall's pistol, 3x porcelain crabs, Indian starfish
MACROALGAE: Thallassia, Halodule, Syringodium, Chaetomorpha, Ulva, Codium, various Halimeda species, misc reds.
