I have 2 Nassarius snails and 5 bumble bee snails in a 10 gallon nano. Recently see a handful of these little babies.... what are they?

The one on the glass is a nano conch/dove snail/strombus grazer. They're great to have and will reproduce. You'll notice clear circular egg cases with tiny white specs on your glass or under powerheads/pumps, etc.... Congrats on the free CUC.

the interesting thing.... is if that baby isnt related to the nassarius or bumble bees... then im a bit confused on the origin as i havent added anything recently. About how long would it take if the eggs of these things came in on a frag to get to this size (1/4")?

They stay small for a long time and slowly grow. The babies are less than 1mm when they hatch (more like .5mm), but can go unnoticed for a while. It takes several weeks for them to hatch and months for them to grow to this size (in your pic). I'll take a pic of the wee little ones in my tank.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
