A little back story
I took an almost 6 year break for some serious health issues I had back in mid 2019. At the time I had just purchased a SC aquarium 150 tank . I started setting it up then was hit with an incurable lung disease. By the grace of GOD it disappeared. While I was down I gave my tank . He had fresh water in it since . Two weeks ago my Wife looked at me a said I miss your reef tank . I talked to my son he didn’t want the tank anymore so here we are now . I got the tank drained cleaned out . Ordered sand and lights man have things went through the roof . Got all my old live dead rock out some of it I have had for almost 30 years . Got it pressure washed and soaked it in bleach water for a little over a week . Rinsed it off soaked it in to water for another week . Now it is sitting out drying off son can start the aqua scape . And that’s another thing that has changed . Before it was deep sand bed tank pack full of rock to now 1-2 inches of sand or no sand and very Little Rock . It think it kinda of ironic when leds where first coming out it was just a few pucks in the fixture . An that was so much better then Halides . To now cover the whole tank with 5-1000 fixtures . I do love me some 20k radium’s. I will say though that the changes in coral colors over the last 6 years has been amazing . Where here are some build details

Tank 150g 5x2x2
Lighting 4 Nicrew navareef 135s
Power heads 2x Hygger HG04 for now
Sump 125 gallon in my crawl space / basement fish room
Return pump reeflo hammer head
Dual chamber calcium reactor
Avast marine kalk stirrer
1000w old school fire hydrant heater
As of know that’s where I am at .
Will post pictures and the build progresses

Well I got the new pump plumbed in . I am going to let everything set over night then try it out when I get home from work tomorrow. I really forgot how much I hate pvc glue . It gets all over my hands and the fumes give me a major headache. But at least some progress .

I got a manicure this morning and I'm now continuing to glue my PVC pipes. I put on disposable kitchen gloves but the PVC primer melts the glove. Good luck and enjoy the fumes from the primer and glue!

So far the tank is going good . Added another Nicrew light . My hammerhead crapped out so I swapped it with a jebao 20000 . Picked up to 60 gallon frag tanks . A local guy was giving away a BK Supermariner 250 with a bad pump so Inoicked it up and swap a DC pump with my 3d printed impeller and it’s doing good . still have to finish enclosing the frag tanks and getting my other 300g holding tank brought in for rodi storage and salt mixing . I just picked up a Neptune DOS so I can setup auto water change .
I picked up a maxspect razor for one of the frag tanks and have picked up a Orphek Atlantic v4 gen2 from a member that I am fixing and that will go over the other frag tank .
