Because I run my reef pretty close to normal saltwater param's, which is around 7-8 alk. My Ca Rx does a fine job at maintaining the Alk, mag, Ca. So, I'm not sure it would bennefit someone like me, I would think it would spike during normal water changes.

Yeah, does not sound like a good choice for calcium reactor runners
