Hello everyone, I just purchased the Innovative Marine Encore Concept 20g tank and need help with budget lighting and skimmers. I need 2 of each and research can be overwhelming. I narrowed it down to 3 options. Hipergero Aqua Knight 30w, 1 per tank. (Cheap, but will it work?) Kessil a80 Tuna Blue 15w, 1 per tank. (Pricey for my budget) and
finally the Current USA Orbit Marine, 1 for both tanks. (Cheapest, but ugliest and less effective) I haven't done much research on skimmers and I think my next upgrade is an ATO system.

Better off with an Ai Prime, kessil 160 or Par 38 bulb. On your list - A80 light.

Thanks but I can't afford any of those. And buying the a80 would mean I could def not afford an ATO and idk if I'll be able to get both skimmers. I think I'm leaning towards the Aqua Knight.

In choosing light, Consider what coral you are planning on keeping and what their light requirements are. There are always some I listed reasonably in the marketplace section of R2R

Thanks I returned my tank and got a waterbox20 instead. Bought the Aqua Knight V2. Hope it works well.
