My build progress is kinda slow due to my little one. To keep the juice going, i want to share my rock flower anemone garden for the time being. Fell inlove with rock anemone after my tank crashed so i decided tk put together a garden for the new build. Enjoy

Wow! did you buy any of the "packs" I see for sale. They usually are grouped by the seller. I have always thought about it but never have committed due to it being a shot in the dark.

Got some time to painted the t5 bracket and finally mounted to the stand. Didnt feel like spending another $1k on a 60” t5 so i use my old 48”. Work out pretty well with two reefbrite xho

How do you like the reefbrites? I’ve been considering adding one to my t5 to supplement. I’m just a bit put off by the price.

I would go with the reefbrite lumi lite rather than the xho. The lumi lite has same colors as the xho IMO. Your t5 has more than enough par for your corals and the lumi lite will provide a really nice actinic pop.

AN update on my plumbing part. After 2 months, my system finally have a filtration.
I decided to keep my old 40g breeder sump. I went and keep it simple with just a skimmer.

I had the tank design for the drain to just go down the bulk head without an overflow box to maximize space and clean look. However because the drain is too big and the hole was drilled a bit down i lost almost 4” of water. Had to add a short 1/2” 90 elbow to raise the water level. Wasnt as clean look as i wanted but it allow me to control the water level which is a plus.

New toy just came, really want to fit it into The control pannel but it’s just too bullky, will probably have to fit inside the stand. Probably going to dose potassium and mag to help with the calcium reactor

Love that control panel. Definitely has the pop to stand out but yet not overwhelming enough to take away from the tank itself. Awesome idea with the nems

Thank you, the led on the control pannel is dimmable so i can always dimmed down. Been loving nem lately since they’re doing ok in the tank while i wait a little longer for stable water for acro.
