No. It is better to find the source of the bloom and remove or clean it.

This is correct. Adding more bacteria when you're already having a bacterial bloom is not a good idea. How do you know you have a bacterial bloom? Can you describe what's going on or, better yet, post some pics?

Thanks for your attention. It’s a 100g tank 2.5 months old with clownfish and invertebrates. I have skimmer and Carbon media reactor.
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 5
Phosphorus 0.09 ulr
Ph 8
Salinity 1.025
I hope the pictures help. I notice the cloudiness is mostly at bottom

Ok thx for the info. That’s a pretty minor bloom that should clear up on its own. If the water gets cloudier or you see white goop starting to form on your rocks, etc. that means it’s getting worse. If so, try a good size water change. If you have a UV, that will help clear things up, but don’t go buy one just for this (even though I believe a UV is almost critical equipment for any tank more than 60 gallons. In the meantime, stop dosing anything meant to feed bacteria like Nopox or forms of carbon dosing (vodka, vinegar, bio pellets)

You could always grab a cheap green machine and run it for a couple of days.

Make sure you frequently swap filter socks/pads as any food or poop sitting in them rots and fuels the bloom.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
