I don't think a sixline is a 100% cure.

Mine is with the snails in QT and I still occasionally brush pyramids off.

Yellow coris wrasses are the other supposed pyramid eater, they don't have the aggression reputation the sixlines do and can be kept in groups in larger tanks. I do love my sixline, he swims right up to my Hand to eat and follows me all over the frag tank. They are very intelligent fish. But they do have the reputation that everyone should be aware of.

I used to have a pair of sixlines. They kept both the snails and flatworms in check. I agree it is not a 100% but a clam or snail with only a few parasites will be fine. It is when the parasites go unchecked that things will die. I now have a very peaceful reef so I use the yellow coris to keep any I miss from becoming an epidemic.
