Ballast Bulb Question

I have a ballast that currently runs (2) 250w metal halide bulbs. Can I run (2) 175w MH bulbs on the same ballast or will that blow the bulb or something??

No. You can run 150w and 175w on the same ballast. But it will overdrive that lamp and mess it up. If it fires at all.

I'm currently running 2 250s and just want to run 2 175s. Can I do that?
