Ballast?

Well if down the road you upgrade you can keep your ballast if you go with the 250/400. If space is a problem then I would go with the space saver.

I had 250w ballasts at one time and when I upgraded to a larger tank, ended up needing 400w. My suggestion is to go with the 250w-400w. They'll be more flexible for lighting options and more desireable when needing to sell.

IM running the 2 in 1 galaxy 250w and been happy with it so far.

Galaxy is a good ballast. The select a watt might be your best option. What bulb will you be running?
