I got 2 baby Bangaii this week from a local breeder. Issue is, I also asked a store to get me a pair of captive bred Bangaii. I'm going to do my best to sex these two, but do I get the other pair too and wait to see if they pair up then rehome 2? Or stick with these 2 and see what happens before getting more? I got these local babies because the store isn't sure if/when they can source my fish I requested.

In my experience telling the correct sex is difficult. I got two of them and it turned out that they were males. At the beginning nothing happened, but after 3 weeks I had to separate one as the other one was bullying him.

Wait until adding more. Btw, what is the tank size?

Oh I'm sorry, that might be helpful to know right? It's a 75 gallon reef tank. The only other current inhabitants are 7 mollies, 2 scissortail dartfish and inverts (CUC, porcelain crabs, peppermint shrimp)
