banggai cardinal fish dropping eggs no mate

I have had this fish for over a year with no other banggai cardinal. I do however have 3 pajama cardinals in the same tank. Could they have cross bread.

Fish produce eggs.

They've either got to drop or re-absorb them, or burst. They'll often drop the eggs with or without a mate available, and in most cases it's not a problem. In a few cases, the female can become egg-bound. Making sure she's in good health and condition will help a lot.
