So I ended up purchasing a juvenile barracuda (4 inches long) today and although I have the resources to house him long term (500 gallon aquarium) I haven't been able to find any information on the internet about keeping them. Has anybody ever kept one before? And if so what and how often did you feed it? How aggressive are they? How sensitive are they to water quality? And is it possible to keep any tankmates with it like large angels or tangs? Thanks in advance.

What are the dimensions of the tank? My uncle lives in Miami and has a 192 inch long by 72 inches wide and not sure on height. I've netted some 2-3 inch for him and they grow FAST. he may still have one but it eats literally everything he's put in the tank with the exception of his sharks. Groupers, triggers, everything gone.

I know from diving they are considered the rats of the sea. They will eat anything they can and they may bite. ;)
