Rock came in broken so had to glue it back together. Company is shipping out another frag rock. Heres a pic of the rock in my current tank.

Still waiting on stand to be finished.
But heres a pic of the tank sitting in the garage.

Going with a vertex 150 in current tank its working like a champ.

Do you have any valves on your plumbing ?

You may want to look at the height of your pipes going into the sump. They should only be about 1" below the water level. You will have issues trying to tune. Also a gate valve on the full syphon.

I have gate valves just above water in sump. Left pipes long for right now. Going to test fill tank and let it run a few days to tune in plumbing. I added the unions so I can remove and adjust hight of drain. This is my first bean animal setup, so any tips on dialing in would be great

Tank is very quite now as the loudest part of the tank currently is the return pump. Its making a slits humming sound but is quieter then my fridge which you can bearly hear. The wife approves of the sound since it sits right behind her seat in the living room. Here is a couple pics of it running after day 2. Still a little bit cloudy. First pic is blues then rearranged rocks a little and whites only.
