Barton's 60g Cube

I recently bought a 60g Planet Aquariums cube from a local for a killer deal of $400. Included was the tank, stand, light, sump, rodi reservoir, ato, return pump, heater, skimmer, and wave maker. I plan on this being a mixed reef havent planned the fish yet though. I have an 100gpd rodi unit the garage and a 2 barrel mixing station I built.

The new frags are beginning to encrust over the glue. I started dosing the Red Sea Reef Energy and it seems to be doing good for the coloration. I also started dosing Kalk in my ATO while i wait for a dosing pump and 2-part setup

Got some sweet frags in a trade yesterday. I’d like an ID on those red zoas

everything is settling in great! Frags are beginning to fully encrust over their plugs and looking back at pics from I put them in, most have grown at least an inch

Lots of growth and updates to the tank. Got a killer deal on an AquAticlife T5/AI prime combo and an older apex setup. Lots of new frags from @WWC too. Picked up a beautiful Rasta Torch that is splitting for $60

Looking to start dosing soon. Thinking all for reef powder and a Kamoer X1 dosing pump unless I can find a good deal on an apex DOS

Things have been going great in the 60 Cube. New lights and apex fully installed. The pod population in this tank is insane. The glass and rockwork are completely covered in different species of pods. Ive seen a few spaghetti worms, up to 20 stomatella, and a few collonista snails. Coraline algae is starting to grow exponentially. Lawnmower blenny and my Mandarin are super fat and healthy. My bigger dispar Anthia jumped while i was at work One bounce mushroom i have split already and my @WWC Fizzy Pop Bounce Shroom is growing bigger and brighter by the day. All frags are turning into small colonies now.

My DKh has stupid high, like 13-14 the past few weeks. I cut off all my dosing except AcroPower and it’s finally down to 10. Calcium is hovering around 450. The colors and polyp extension hasn’t been better

So how many stomatellas are TOO MANY? I have literally thousands! Every little crevice has a small baby stomatella in it. And at night, the glass is covered!

Yeah I seem to have hit it perfectly with this tank. There was about a week where my phosphates got a little high and some algae popped up but it went away quick. Also had a nasty bacterial bloom for a few days
