BC vs. VT

Strictly because I'm going for as many non SEC upsets as possible to move the SEC in tighter (depending on the outcome of the two big games today-Aub/LSU, and Fla/Ky), go VT. I'd love to see MSU beat OSU, too:). Those are some tough SEC games, today, though. Either game could go eaither way...

actually, the VT vs. BC game isn't until Thursday night. and I will be there! :) (50 yard line, 4 row up right behind the visitors bench) ;)

Another Great College Game
I know the games upcoming. But I'm looking forward to it. Thats why I started thread today. I think it's going to be one of the best games this year. IMO I think these two teams are even.

yeah, the teams are pretty even...but BC hasn't played anyone who is good yet, so they are unproven....which means they could have a huge collapse in an intimidating atmosphere with allot on the line.
VT's defense and special teams are electric at home under the lights...so thats a non-issue. The big question is whether VT's offense is going to show up for the game. And while we can rely on our defense and special teams to score in the absence of the offense....we can't have our offense turn the ball over multiple times during the game. Thats what kills us in every loss we've had the past 2 years.

OK, Heres what I think.... ( I know, like you care) I love those VT night games in there stadium. And I say, after Thursday, VT is ranked one of the top 5 teams in the country in next weeks polls. No jinx. The question is, can they finish the season there? LMK

we have a tough schedule the rest of the season...no doubt about it. the big thing will be how healthy we are. one of our All-American line backers broke his wrist a month ago (but should be back for the BC game), and our starting QB sprained his ankle 2 weeks ago (still questionable for the BC game).
if this was any other season..i'd be saying my prayers to just come out alive the rest of the season.
-we play at Georgia Tech next Thursday night. (always a trap game when playing at GT).
-then we play Florida State and Miami the next 2 weekends at home (we've NEVER beaten Florida State...but they've never played in Blacksburg either...). thankfully both of these teams are not doing well this year. (playing versus Miami is always a big game).
-then, the last game of the season we a HUGE rivalry game at the University of Virginia, the winner of that game will determine who goes to the ACC championship game (and UVA is a hot team right now b/c they keep winning by 1-2pts each weekend).
thats allot of physical teams.....so i'm more worried about injuries affecting us down the road.
if we make it to the ACC championship, i doubt we will win it. we will be so beat up by then traveling all the way to florida to play BC again...will not be good.

its gonna take me a little while longer to recover from this than any other game.........this game gave me the same "punch to the stomach" that the '98 game vs. Syracuse gave me......when Donavan Mcnabb through a hail marry to the endzone on the final play to win the game.
I didn't get home until 3:30am this morning, still haven't taken a shower.......and I just left all my SOAKING wet clothes in the car......that can't be a good smell.....
.....sigh.....
oh yeah, i can't talk today either, my voice is completely gone....
