Hello

So after using flux Rx to decimate GHA...a few weeks later Dino's showed back up. I'm guessing with going so clean and nothing to out compete them the came back from my battle months ago.

I'm also setting up a new 45 gallon tank. So not sure if i just wait and break down old tank and move to new tank or try to fight them to wipe them out.

Currently i'm using UV and h2o2 with microbacter 7.

Phosphates were .16 nitrates are 20ppm and corals all are looking great! Really puffed up and looking good.

I need competing algae is my guess...

Any suggestions?

also stop WC
and if you can mount the UV inside the display tank that will be better

also my friend try on his tank blackout it worked for sometime as it won't get raid of them all but reduce them, but corals won't be very happy
yup, no water changes. I was going to manually remove with suction but that takes out water too and i have to replace some of it. I'm going to test water today to see where my levels are at but im sure i am nutrient high

you should do it if you can
buy 5 micron filter i think its good and put a hose to to it to the sump so the water will filter out and you won't lose any thing

for me i did something DIY with the filter from the RO i got one champer of ro filter and put a hose to it so the water go inside and out filtered it always working for me even today i am going to use it to clean the hair algae and every thing
ill take a photo of it to know what i am talking about

I had good luck beating my dino outbreak with MB7 and making sure my nitrate and phosphate did not bottom out.
