Still battling the GHA. Decided to change the fuge light and add a small maxijet to the refugium.

Also added a couple new frags, a chalice and an acan. Corals all continue to be happy. The birds nest frags are really taking off.

mid like to replace my CUC, all the hermits and just about all the snails are dead. Not sure why when everything else is thriving. I think I mentioned this already, but I think the Mg in my salt mix is really high, I never get a reading <1500.

Think I turned a corner, but we’ll see. The new fuge light didn’t make a difference. In fact, figured the chaeto altogether wasn’t doing anything, so I ditched that altogether. After a bunch of reading and thought, I decided to try something different. I decided to start dosing vibrant (Im only on week 1) and I actually increased my feeding.
With the vibrant, I accidentally dosed it two days in row (5 mls each day instead of 5 mls just on one day) so I’m dealing with a little cyano, but that’s no biggie and clearing up. The algae issues are resolving fast, corals don’t seem to be bothered, and I’m pulling more skim from the skimmer. Seems the coralline has more surface area and is developing a little better too.

Got a bunch of black Friday corals coming in, so it’s nice to see the tank clearing up a bit
