If I put GSP on an island would it still spread out past the island?

i never had one grow beyond where i put them but mine isnt that big.. but if they did manage to grow to spots where you never wanted you can easily peel them off the rock

Okay thank you. That's my only concern. I don't want to set them up on an island and then they spread to the sand or main rock.

Can anyone help me. I have watched the BRSTV episodes on beginner friendly corals but my problem is almost all of the corals mentioned need to be placed on an island separate from the main structure. Can anyone give me some suggestions on beginner friendly corals that I could put on my main rock structure and it not take completely over?
