Thanks Man couldn't ask for better opinion. Like You I can't afford leds 7 heard only good things about T5's.
I'm about to buy an ati 6 bulb for my 75. See how I like them.
Awesome you'll have to let me know how you like it. The cost of bulbs might add up over time but atleast it's a gradual cost.

You did a great job on the aquascaping..
Thanks! It took forever lol. I'm still not 100% satisfied. The tank is 24in deep so it kinda sucks because you can't really see what doing till you take your hand out and look. Other than that my goals where to have room for stuff to grow in and fish to swim. I also tried to make as many hiding places I could for the fish. I was thinking about getting a few more pieces, but not sure yet.

I am in the same boat, i spend alot of time fiddling with mine.. I plan on moving in 1-2 years so I wanted removable islands and ability to separate faster growing corals such as monti and staghorns. I really want to have corals that can grow into hugh colonies so spacing them accordingly is going to be the challenge for me in the start.

Heres mine...Now that I have it setup (with my 2 loan clownfish!) I want to add more rock on the back side towards the left! I have the 26" wide tank so may as well use it! However, I may just add a few pieces to spread out some of the faster growing corals.. Exciting times!

That's awesome I didn't get the dimmalbe one. The regular one was cheaper lol but it has two plugs one for 2 bulbs and the other for 6 so I can still simulate sun rise/ sunset.

So I’ve had some ups and down but hopefully things start settling down this year. It’s been a year since I filled it and I figured I better post some updates.

Thanks for the update..We setup our tanks at the sametime.. Even with my best effort I experienced every major headache a new SPS system with dryrock has. If I had to do it again I would seed my tank with LR sooner and add SPS at month 6. This is when they started growing along with coraline and sponges. Passion and persistency

Yeah I end up using a lot of dry rock and I think that made things take a lot longer.
