Great looking stand.

I have a similar size tank. Right now I’m running a GEO 818 calcium reactor, working well at the moment, might need even bigger when the system grows in, but that should be far down the line.

I’d consider 4 MP60’s vs the other pumps you mention, for cleaning, nothing easier to take out, clean, maintain than the Vortech.

SKY’s have been amazing for me. 8 easily covers the tank, and it’s 120” long.

I have a school of 30 green chromis, I want to add some anthias too.

Consider a heat exchanger, I document the build of one on my build thread. Not sure if it’s really that much cheaper in the long run, but it sure is nice to not have a bunch of stick heaters in the tank.

Thank you,
Sky are great, I have couple on my 750 XXL G2 system. They are more natural looking.

Mp60 are great pumps and cleaning is lot easier. I might dump the gyres so I don’t need to use hydros as well lol

I will check the geo reactors I hear good things about them.

Chromis are great, will consider buying them.

I drilled a hole beside the tank so I can install exhaust fan for the circulation.

That’s gonna be a beautiful setup! As for lighting I’m a halide guy but if I went leds I’d run reef breeders or reefi uno pros are amazing!
Reefi uno guys are local to me will check their reviews.
Never used metal halide personally, sourcing them will be issue I think.

You won’t be disappointed in reefi! Halides are easy to find and luckily radium is back to making bulbs for us! Halides aren’t for everyone but man they’re beautiful and fish just pop!

Placed them in there just to see how they look.

Didn’t budget it but took me few months to plan and order everything.
Aquarium builder asked me $3250 for the stand alone and I did some research and found local welder to do the Job, stand was like 1100$ and powder coating another 350$

Marco rock can be made into any shape you want. This is one of the 8 that I will be building

That looks great, I wanted more arches and caves so went with Caribsea rocks.
Couple arches were purchased from my friend who was breaking down his tank, those are made with Caribsea.
