Just got back from a few dives in Belize. I do have more pics to come when the gopro stops acting up.
One note, I forgot to bring the red lenses, color shots are poor. The nurse sharks keep photo bombing us, as soon as they see a lion fish spear, they follow like dogs.

As you said red filter helps immensely on the GoPro. What area are you diving? Miss Belize diving but I’ve been going to Curacao instead because of shore dives and price. Actually heading down next week.

Nice.
We were off of San Pedro, did 12 dives, went to lighthouse etc, but didn't dive blue hole.

The channel reef is cool, not the GBR, but after a couple year hiatus, it was much needed.
We just love the people of Belize.

I do have great video and more pics, just can't get off camera, nor load video.

We are booking a trip to Curacao right now for August. We are looking at Gobi dive shop.
Any recommendations?

Blue hole is a one and done but the other 2 dives make the boat ride worth it. As for Curacao I never used a shop other than renting tanks. This is my first trip that I’m not staying on the west side figure if the middle isn’t as good I can always drive west lol. Will you be staying in Willemstad? Getting a rental car? I’ll post on the diving closer to town when I arrive next week.
Staying at Blue Bay air b&b 120 a night for 3 bedroom. Hard to pass those prices up lol. Check out https://curacaodivingguide.com/ for some sites around the island.

Wife does all the booking, but yes, she said around Willemstad. Comparing prices now. We haven't been there yet.

Rent a car for sure even if its just a few days to visit the westside. My wife isn't into scuba but loves the beach thats how I first ended up looking at Curacao over Belize. Some of the beaches out west are amazing and have great dives less than 3 minutes swim from shore. The dark blue area in that photo is the the reef. Think the tanks at that beach are 7.00 each or 30.00 a day for unlimited tanks.
