Hi

I am wondering what the best depth is for a roller filter? I have a Clarisea SK5000.
I know the depth changes the pressure from the water going through the fleece, but unsure how much this actually apply in real life.
I currently have it raised pretty high, but this makes it noisy once the water level rises inside the filter and water falls down on the outside.
I remember when having it lower in the water, the water level changed in the overflow chamber due to the restriction from the increased water height in the filter.

What is your placement of the rollerfilter, and generel recommendations really welcome.

Is there a default height for just hanging it off the side?
No. There are several settings/intervals.
I do believe that it will be most efficient the less deeper it sits. The internal water pressure will be higher, thus allowing more water through and capturing smaller particles.
I guess I need to do a diy thing, for limiting the splahing noise.
