Hey,
I was thinking of adding mollies as my first fish to my future 120 gallon mixed reef tank. I will set it up by the beginning of next year. I'm asking now as I want to do my proper research before getting any livestock. I have experience with fresh water and whenever something dies I take it personally. I wanted to add mollies, as they are hardy, cheap and widely available. I heard that they can live in saltwater and so I was thinking about how long should I take and drip acclimate them before adding them to the tank. I also need to know how many drops of water per second should I use for these fish. Another reasons for getting them is because they peck at algae and bio films, so that's a plus point. And if they don't, it doesn't matter as that's not the main purpose of getting them. I will get them just to stabilize the tank before adding more fish.

Mollies would work and are also good algae eaters
Be sure to acclimate them as you would with saltwater fish
