I recently ended up rescuing a healthy Snow Flake Eel that was used to being feed by tongs. A few weeks before the previous owner wanted him gone he wasnt eating. I didnt have a setup for him and failed to find him a home so he ended up in a 20gal rubbermaid with some of his old live rock and some gear to keep him ok until I did. I setup a 65 gal with dry and some live sand and some nice cycled bare Fiji rock. He went in on Friday night. I tried to feed him in the rubber maid a small krill and again in the tank twice now. He doesnt seem interested. This tank is gonna be basically just for him. What inticing foods have others used to get an invertebrate eating Eel to feed again? At this point I dont think he has eaten in atleast 6 weeks. He isnt skinny at all but I worry.
